Angel Vs Devil

Whenever I see people reacting differently, it raises a question in my mind, why people do that? If same person can react differently then what can be the reason for that? Whenever I ask this question to people around me I get mix of answers pointing towards, “it is human nature”, that raises a new question is that answer to my question? Today morning just thinking about this and came up with a different answer so just wanted to share the same with you all. It seems that we have an Angel and a Devil inside us, at every moment that fight with each other and we react accordingly that is if Angel wins we react in a very good way and when ever Devil wins we react other way. There are set of people I have seen always react in negative way, so as per my thought it’s always devil that wins over angel inside them. I have started a comparative analysis between angel and devil, as per stories we heard in our child age it is always angel who wins over devil but I am thinking on the fact that who should win this battle, as sometimes it is really important for humanity to devil to win and sometimes its other way round. I don’t know if this war between angel and devil is important and required? I also want to know is there a way to live without this war?

Please share your thoughts on this…

  1. Hi Kunal,
Well, what you say is true.. Even our ancient indian wisdom says the same.. there are always opposite of each and every thing and every human contains both.. But as per my perception the battle of angel and devil will always be there , who wins will depend on the power given to them. If you read power of subconscious mind or other that stuff , it is every human being giving powers to them, and the powers depends on the environment, circumstances the person is and has been brought up in. If a person is brought in a negative environment he will always think negative first and he might require time/effort to fuel his angel to win.... and that's exactly what conditioning of mind is. Secondly, i have seen a person giving totally different reaction to same condition but in different environment he is in..well that's what confuse me too.... But i always believe that everything has duality and the world we live in, is the world of duality, anything wrong to one will certainly be good to other no matter we accept that or not.. so i think a time will never come when all the angels in all human being will win :) if so the principle of duality will fail....

  2. Well said Bhuvan, on a very personal note there must not have any duality principle in human life as it is causing problems every moment in life.

  3. Nicely put I must say - one must learn from the devilish reactions to not repeat the same mistake even if it brings in success.

  4. Your post reminds me of an email I had read some time back. It said something like a grandpa was telling a story that there are two wolves within us - one resembles love, peace, happiness, etc while the other resembles anger, hatred, violence, etc. The child asks which of the wolves grows bigger. The grandpa replies "The one whom you feed"
